So, after months of going to the hospital, having blood drawn and then to the Endocrinologist, every six weeks like clockwork and having meds adjusted, she actually said, “your numbers look great”. Finally. She stated, you can come every few months now. Then I asked, were coming up soon on the year of my diagnosis, will I have a scan, she said, no. We don’t do that. We would have to take you off your meds and go through that entire process again (literally unfunctional when this occurs). We will just follow blood work schedule and appointments.
